August Uno

Today was my husbands first day of work so I woke up with him at 7 and made him a special waffle breakfast. I then went back to bed until 10:15 (I know, crazy). After having my bible study (Acts 17, Proverbs 1) I made breakfast...
Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin bread
Organic Valley cream cheese
1 Egg
Peach Pineapple salsa (the 2nd best salsa in the world)
Carrots

Lunch:
 Leftover Mac and Cheese (Homemade)
Green Pepper slices

Then after lunch I did my day one of the 30 Day Shred! It was so great. At first I felt like I was kinda letting myself down because it was so hard and I actually expected it to be easy after doing Ripped. But i found that they are both hard and different. It was quite amazing that even in the warm-up doing windmills my arms were working so hard. I do think that Shred is harder when it comes to cardio. And since I felt like maybe I wasn't pushing as hard as I possibly could. I then kicked it into high gear for the final circuit and walked away exteremly proud of myself. I proved to myself that I could do it and I didn't have to walk away disappointed. As long as I give it everything I got there is nothing that can make me feel bad about myself. The only way I'm a loser is if I cheat myself. Can't wait for tomorrow!
After Shred I had a delicious snack:
2 Kiwi
Cantaloupe

Dinner:
Stir fry veggies (9 different!!)
Sriracha
Braggs
& Lemon Cod

When my hubby monster got home we ran over to the farmer's market and got some yummy delicious bread, zucchini bread, the most incredible jam I've ever tasted, some red potatoes, tomatoes, and cherries. YUM!

Now for a random posting of Things that Fascinate Me!
One of my favorite sites is a blog called trulyjess.com Its a fitness blog that is so inspiring. I also follow her on youtube. Last week her and another girl Amanda Tyson started a journey called #CHANGE. They just posted their first week video update. So motivating.
Another thing I found today is a tabata timer. In the blogs above I noticed the girls using these and I desperately wanted one so I could do a similar workout. After a simple Google search I found one! http://www.tabatatimer.com/ Prue Awesomeness.
I now live in Montana but when I lived in Michigan I went to a gym that had the best class in the universe called Turbo Kick. The instructor was a girl named Kiersten she is so full of energy. She actually owns her own fitness company called Fitness Inspired. I'm so excited about this, she is posting a free 10 day challenge on youtube. Amazing.

So I'm absolutely addicted to Pinterest. I came to the decision the other day that I only want to post things that I actually WILL apply to my life and not just DREAM about (to some extent of course, some stuff is just to great to not post). But as far as my FIT and WHOLESOME boards I really want to start incorporating these things into my life. So I am going to start randomly completing the recipes and workouts I post. I will track it all right here.
Yesterday I found out how much water I'm actually suppose to drink. I know the average person is suppose to drink between 8-10 cups of water a day. But it turns out for every 25 pounds you're over weight you're suppose to drink an additional cup. So since I'm 200 pounds over I'm to drink a gallon of water a day! HOLY AGUA! I have to tell you the best part is getting to go pee every 20 minutes.

 <up<My Companion. Mr. Waterbottle
My tracking system. >side>
So since my water bottle holds 3 cups I have to drink just over 5 of them a day. As you can see my tracking system sucks so I will be trying to find a new one.
Have a great night! See you tomorrow!
