Preparing for September.

Alright kids it's time to be honest. I took pictures this morning and I didn't see much of a difference. I will not let another month go by wasted. I've been proud of myself the last couple of days but I'm not surprised by my results. I knew that the majority of this month I was not doing what needed to be done.

New Program!


So it's official. I got sick of doing 30 day shred. The last couple days I've been doing Turbo Jam. And I've just decided to make it official. I'm going to do Turbo Jam for the remainder of August and through September. I absolutely love this workout. I'm having so much fun.
I found this schedule. I think it's what comes with the Turbo Jam Results kit or something. Anywho I only have the dvd so I found this. There's also an "Advanced Rotation" that I'm sure I'll do at some point.

Alrighty well I just wanted to update on what my current plan is.
Yesterday was my husband's birthday and now I'm back at it full throttle. I love my new self. Old me would've just junked it out for the next 5 days and then "started fresh" but now I know that is ridiculous and every day is a new beginning. Amen.

#Proof


Turbo Charged




I don't know why I've been struggling so much lately. I'm not depressed or anything. My motivation is just seriously lagging. Weight loss is a funny thing. It starts out hard gets easy but then gets hard again. I don't even have a scale laughing in my face. But I can tell from what I've been eating, my zapped energy, and the fact that I haven't been working out that things aren't looking so hot for me right now.
On a happy note. I got Turbo Jam in the mail today!!! I think instead of continuing this bitch fest I'm going to go workout. I'll holla. latez.

Halfway Mark


I'm so sorry. I have been going through a slump. I haven't been depressed or anything. Just losing my focus. I've been eating more then what's truly necessary. On a much happier note however, I did my Jillian yesterday. From here on out I'm going to do Shred everyday for the rest of the month. With the possible exception of Sunday. I'm so pumped to see those pics at the end of the month and see all the hard work I put in. And then do it again! Woo Hoo!

This is where I push hard.


So I feel like I have been slacking lately. I've been eating okay and doing some workout but I don't feel like I have that same motivation I had when I started. Which is to be expected. this is the part the makes or breaks people. And well I will not be broken. I need to just refocus myself every morning. All I'm asking for is 12 months. 12 Months of doing everything I possibly can so start a  new life. So here's the plan. I will be doing Jillian's 30 Day Shred all but 2 days a week. I will start tracking my calories again becasue the only way I can be sure that I'm doing what's right (at least at this time in hte plan) is to see it there in black and white.
Alright so it's a promise. Today I get back in gear. At the end of the month I want to see that transformation in the pictures. I don't want to feel like I wasted a whole month when I'm only asking for 12 kickass months. I can't say I have failed thus far because life is life and this is a lifestyle not a diet. When family comes it distracts you from you're original plan. The goal is to get right back to it when the leave. Which is what I'm doing. Amen!

No Media Monday
So I've started a new goal called No Media Monday. Which basically means on Mondays for now on I am turning off the tv and the computer. Gives me much more time to read. Yippy. I love reading but for some reason I have to be forced to start or I'd rather watch TV. So yesterday was successful. My sister and nephew came to visit. We went swimming and then ate the Delicious dinner I made.

 Sorry forgot to take a picture of dinner. It was a vegetable lasagna with a veggie salad topped with Annie's Asiago cheese dressing and a piece of toast topped with butter and garlic. Unbelievably delicious.

I'm not perfect. Say What?

So first thing in the morning I went grocery shopping and picked up PB2. I've been seeing a lot of places. It's powdered peanut butter, so they take most of the fat and oil out of it. It's so great. Do you have any idea how many times I've wanted to add pb to my morning oatmeal and just concluded it would be too weird and or difficult to stir it in. But now I can! My breakfast was like a Oatmeal Peanut Butter Raisin COOKIE! Yummerz.
I had an amazing workout today. I feel so good. My fat is no longer hitting me in the face when I jump! Improvements. So Awesome.
Yesterday I had a bit of a dilemma. I chose to not do my Shred and did Turbo Jam instead. I got a great workout in. I was only concerned that if I didn't do Shred everyday I would end up failing. But I learned a lesson. Just like last month I learned I don't have to workout as soon as my eyes open in the morning to be successful, This month I learned that as long as I'm doing something I'm still a success. After all this is a lifestyle and I'm actually only setting myself up for failure if I don't enjoy my workouts.

However do not fret I'm still shredding this month. I did it today and it was fantabulous. I was suppose to begin level 2 today but I didn't feel ready to move on. So I'll get there when I get there.
